takes two to tango

there was this one strip in the archie comic book series where veronica woke up one morning feeling like she stepped off a cloud. and it's all flowery and pink. a beautiful morning in other words.

then she goes and does the first of her morning rituals.

she steps on the scale.

next scene, is the whole lodge manor awakened by a shrill scream.

veronica, as the strip so colorfully depicted, gained 5lbs.

that's how i felt this morning. i wanted to scream. no actually, i was shocked that the weight i was seeing on the scale was still the same weight i saw the other day when i thought i just had water retention.

just a few days back, people were complementing me on how i look like i lost weight. i was just thinking then how they couldn't be more than wrong. i had already gained 3 lbs then, but still people said i lost weight.

now, aside from the fact that i, myself, could see the weight gain, someone else did as well.

WHY?!?!?!

i swear i'm not having dinner tonight. too much rice is already my downfall. waaaaaaaaaaaah! i think i need more veggies as well. my innards aren't clean. i think that's also a huge chunk of the weight there. cos my weight gain is entirely too rapid.

bear with me.

the last time i weighed like this was when i was in college and fresh out of the hospital. now i have no excuse.
